The Nevada governor has signed an Emergency Declaration that announces a one-time Exceptional Circumstance Special Enrollment Period for individual health insurance. The enrollment period now runs from March 17th thru May 15th.
This opportunity allows individuals who DID NOT enroll in a health insurance plan during the 2019-2020 Open Enrollment Period, to obtain health insurance coverage effective as soon as May 1, 2020.
Nevada Health Link is continuing the tax subsidy program which may qualify customers based on household size & income.

Here are some important details you should know before you call:
*Applications submitted April 1, 2020 to April 30, 2020 will receive an effective date of May 1, 2020.
*Applications submitted May 1, 2020 to May 15, 2020 will receive an effective date of June 1, 2020.
Nevada Health Link will need to verify and validate that there has been no prior enrollment for the Plan Year 2020.
Customers who were previously enrolled on a Nevada Health Link provided health insurance plan in 2020 are NOT eligible.
Current customers CANNOT switch or change their current plans if already enrolled in coverage.
