Nevada Eviction Moratorium Extended

Governor Sisolak recently announced that he was extending the ban on evictions an additional 45 days until October 15th.

More information can be found in the articles below.

Please remember, once the moratorium is lifted, the landlord must still provide a 30-day notice to vacate and cannot go directly to a 7-day judicial eviction procedure. So, after October 15th, a 30-day notice takes us out to November 15th. Evictions during the holidays from mid-November until New Year’s Day are difficult, so this could effectively put a hold on evictions until next year.
